Coming Home to the Embodied Sacred Feminine' - Marion Woodman Affiliated Workshop. This small intimate retreat for women will be held a week after the spring equinox in Tuscany, when the early green shoots of new growth are beginning to make their appearance. The focus will be on integrating Jungian psychology grounded in the work of Marion Woodman, which focuses on redeeming the feminine, through bringing consciousness into the body soul. Peter Kingsley’s work will provide roots for this endeavor and therefore deepen the process. The emphasis is on opening each participant to the Imaginal Realm as it lives within our fertile receptive body souls. We will work with the Persephone / Demeter Myth, dreams, movement (yoga, tai chi, dance, voice work & specific embodied exercises that will open us to our creativity bringing new insights into our inner workings and teaching us ways to foster and protect this tender new growth. Though the work entails a descent into the Underworld, it eventually can lead to a deeper relationship to Sacred Play and a greater feeling of being fully alive in this world. Instructors: Sally Donnelly PhD & Christine Zecca MA (CEUs available)…have both completed the BodySoul Rhythms® Leadership Training Program Required Reading: Marion Woodman’s Addiction to Perfection: The Still Unravished Bride & Peter Kingsley’s In the Dark Places of Wisdom. Cost: $1900 per person, $500 non-refundable deposit ($1800 if registered with deposit by Dec 31, 2007). Each room varies quite a bit. There are 3 large suites with own bath, 1 smaller one with bath and 4 rooms of varying size, which share two baths. As it’s first come first serve, early registration is advised. Remainder of tuition is due one-month prior (Feb 29th 2008). This includes full room and board. Scholarships are available, depending on need.
